Reasons to Visit Your Advisor

Get what you want out of your degree and experience
Academic advisors are guides through your college experience. They are here to help you determine what you want to do and what it will take to get there.
They will help you identify the correct major, curriculum, minor, certificates, study abroad, internship, campus resources and so much more to help you get where you want to be and to get the most out of your time here.
Keep on track for your degree and future
While all degree requirements are posted on the registrar's web page, it's essential to check in with your advisor at least once a year (if not more) to make sure you are staying on track. Also, you may learn about other opportunities that will further enhance your ability to reach your future goals.
Academic problems
There are many resources on campus for helping you address any academic difficulties you may be facing. Your academic advisor can help point you to the program that will best address your situation.
General questions or concerns
Your academic advisor is your primary source of information about campus events - make the most of this. We are here for you. To find your advisor, please visit the Find Your Advisor page.
